What Does It Take To Become a Class B Provider?

What Is a Class B Provider?

Class B Provider Registration

To register as a Class B Provider, you'll need to register with HMI Institute of Health Science, and undergo training and inspection in accordance to MOH guidelines. The process is as below:

Purpose of Class B Providers

Approved Class B providers will be allowed to conduct Antigen Rapid Tests (ART) for the purpose of Pre-Event Testing (PET).

This will enable more economic and social activities to resume in a safer manner, the Ministry of Health (MOH) is implementing the use of PET as one of the measures to mitigate the risks of COVID-19 spread. Individuals who wish to enter the venues where selected events, business, or activities are being conducted are required to obtain a negative COVID-19 test results within a specific period of time.

These pre-event test must be valid within a specific duration of time (at most 24 hours before the end of their attendance to the venue requiring PET), and the individual must be able to produce proof of the test results.
